Dining in Seville

As in much of Spain, the art of dining takes on two realms, one is the light and social fare of tapas bars, the second is the unrivaled selection of full restaurant menus.  Either way, or a combination of both, dining in Seville doesn’t disappoint.

Most Seville restaurants cater to both dining experiences, like Abades Triana with its panoramic views across the Guadaluivir River to the Maestranza bullring. You might want to catch Modesto and their fritura or fried fish or their shellfish, called moriscos.  If you choose the beautiful San Marco, make sure you make reservations to enjoy their palace setting along Calle Cuna, one of Andalusia’s most beautiful streets. You may pay a bit more to eat along the river, but dining at Pedalquivir or El Patio San Eloy will add ambiance to excellence.

So if you’re craving the best and freshest seafood tapas around, or have an appetite for great Sangria along with Andalusian ethnic cuisine, Seville eateries won’t disappoint.
